(IMPORTANT!!!)
I've had this for quite a few years now, that's why it does not look brand spanken new in the above photograph!!!

This product does not emit light of its own, so the standard review format will not be used and the product will not be assigned a rating. This website is mostly about light-emitting products, but occasionally, you'll see non-light emitting products on it too if it's something I really like.

Also, I'm not a reviewer of video games or video game consoles, and don't play one on TV or on the internet -- so please bear with me here.

This is the Plug It In and Play TV Games ™: Atari® version. It looks virtually identical to the joystick that was used for the Atari® 2600 VCS (Video Computer System) video game console from the mid- to late-1970s. It uses four AA cells (or "batteries" if you prefer), and is a fully self-contained gaming system with ten (10) games built in and ready to play.

Games included are: Centipede®, Breakout®, Gravitar®, Real sports Volleyball®, Pong®, Yars Revenge®, Circus Atari®, Missile Command®, Asteroids®, and Adventure®.

Since I do not have the instructional materials and cannot find them online, I'll have to wait until I can get my mitts on an RF modulator before I'll have anything in this section.

To change the batteries in this game console, used a small phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw holding the battery door on. This screw is captive, and cannot just summarily fall off and become lost.

Remove the battery door and its attached screw, wait until Digimon Data Squad is on TV and Shinegreymon Burst Mode is about to fire his Torrid Weiß, then huck the battery door at the TV so that it gets melted...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.

Remove the four used AA cells from the compartment, and dispose of or recycle them as you see fit.

Insert four new AA cells into the compartment, orienting them so that their flat-ends (-) negatives face the springs for them in each chamber.

Place the battery door back on, tighten that screw, and be done with it.
Aren't you glad that you didn't chuck that battery door at your boob tube now?

Photograph of the buttons on the front surface used to operate the unit.

I do not have own or have access to a television or video monitor with composite video
inputs via male RCA plug (or any other connection method for that matter),
so I am not able to furnish any screen shots of the games.

Once I get my hands on a device called an RF modulator, I'll be able
to furnish screen shots and possibly even some videos of it in action.

These are the male RCA plugs: the yellow is for video, and the white is for audio (sound).

TEST NOTES:
Product was purchased on Ebay sometime in 2002 or perhaps 2003.

Until I can get this product functional (I need an RF modulator), that somewhat dreadful "Product not broken but could not be tested" icon will appear next to its listings on this website, denoting the fact that I was unable to test it. I had a Commodore 1702 monitor at my disposal when I purchased this, so I know it works anyway.
