The Panasonic RP-HT21 Stereo Headphones (probably called simply "headphones" throughout the remainder of this web page) are a set of "open air" headphones. They have samarium-cobalt drivers, and can take a whopping 1000mW (1 watt!) of power!!! The drivers have an impedance of 24.

Using these headphones is as easy as using most other headphones -- it's as easy as 1-2 actually:

1: Place them on your head so that the ear pads cover your ears (the size of the headband is easily adjustable), orienting them so that the earcup with a "L" silkscreened onto it goes over your left ear and the earcup with a "R" silkscreened onto it goes over your right ear.

2: {to borrow a phrase from a popular type of air freshener} PLUG THEM IN, PLUG THEM IN!!! That is, plug them into a " female stereo phone receptacle and proceed to listen to some zax (or choons or jams or music or...well, you get the idea.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was purchased on Ebay on 12-19-12 (or "19 Dec 2011" or even "Dec. 19, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer), and was received on the afternoon of 12-22-12.

Product was not intended to be a light-emitter, so this will be an informational web page rather than a fully-fledged evaluation.


UPDATE: 02-20-13
I noted that the fidelity of these headphones is quite high: in the Anthrax song, "Ball of Confusion", I heard the lyric, "and the band played on" in a very distorted voice and at fairly low amplitude (volume) when compared with the remainder of the song before I heard it with the Behringer HPX2000 High-Definition HD Stereo DJ Headphones.


UPDATE: 03-29-13
The cord has broken internally near the plug; killing the left channel.
Therefore, the dreadful, "Failed or was destroyed during/after testing" icon will be appended to its listings on this website; denoting the fact that product failure has occurred.
