"COMPUTER MOUSE" LED NOVELTY FLASHLIGHT

"Computer Mouse" LED Novelty Flashlight, retail 50¢
Manufactured by (Unknown)
Last updated 07-10-13

This is a novelty keychain flashlight in a computer mouse-shaped plastic body.

It has a phosphor white LED, which was a bit surprising given the cost (50¢) and its source (a vending machine amidst gumball vending machines).

It appears to be disposable; there does not appear to be any way to change the batteries in it.

Size of product w/hand to show scale SIZE

To use this flashlight, slide the generously-sized white slide switch on the top of the product forward to activate it; slide it backward to neutralise it.

This flashlight is disposable; there is no obvious way to change the batteries in it when they poop out. So this section of the web page will not be necessary.

This was intended to be a disposable product, so even if you do manage to break it, just throw it away and go get another one. At 50¢ apiece, it certainly won't break the bank.

Because this is a disposable flashlight in a somewhat chintzy plastic body, not a flashlight in a metal or sturdier plastic body meant to be trashed, thrashed, bashed, and and abused, I won't try to drown it in the toliet, smash it against a concrete driveway, throw it against a wall, stomp on it, sit down hard on it, viciously huck it at one of those wall-mounted porcelain uranators to see if it explodes (the pisscan, not the flashlight), or otherwise abuse it. So this portion of the web page will be more bare than this section of the web page on a page about a flashlight.

Light is less blue than this photograph indicates.
Measures 16,320mcd on an Amprobe LM631A light meter.

Beam cross-sectional analyses would normally appear here, but the computer hosting my ProMetric beam cross-sectional analyser is on the rag again.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was purchased at a Safeway in Federal Way WA. USA (from a vending machine in a rack with similar machines including gumball machines) on the morning of 06-02-13.
