The Battery-powered Orange LED Halloween Lights are a string of unexpectedly potent orange LEDs that are designed to be strung around Jack-O-Lanterns (lighted, carved pumpkins); though you can decorate with them as you see fit.

It features 18 LEDs on a remarkably thin wire; the set operates from a pair of AA cells, so there is no fire and shock hazard.

The light string itself is submersible -- though the battery box is not.

Feed the lights first (see directly below), and then you can go decorate that Jack-O-Lantern or just hang the suckers on the inside of your window.

String these up as you would ordinary (corded) seasonal lights, but handle them carefully because the wires are considerably thinner than the wires are on corded sets. Wrap them around a Jack-O-Lantern (lighted, carved pumpkin) as they were intended to be used; or hang them on porches, mantles, doorways, or other places where you might normally hang holiday light sets.

You may also use them in vases, apple-dunking bowls, or other water locations -- though you must ensure that the battery box itself remains high & dry.

To turn them on, slide that little black switch on the upper-right side of the battery box toward the "on" legend.

To neutralise them, slide the switch to the "off" position.



To change the batteries, slide the battery door off in the direction of the embossed label on it, and throw it into a graveyard full of rotting stinky zombies so that they become upset at it and stomp on or even whip out their {vulgar slang term for multiple male tallywhackers; seven letters, starts with "p" and ends with "s", rhymes with "wreckers"} and uranate on it...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.

If necessary, remove and dispose of or recycle the 2 used AA cells from the compartment.

Insert two new AA cells in the compartment, orienting each cell so its flat-end (-) negative faces a spring for it in each chamber.

Slide the battery door back on, and be done with it.
Aren't you glad you didn't huck that battery door into the graveyard with all those stinky zombies with full bladders now?



These light sets appear at least *reasonably* durable, in that they should not just fall apart on their own or through just casual handling.

This product is meant to be used as a Halloween light string in a dry area, not as flashlight meant to be thrashed, trashed, and abused, so I won't throw them against the wall, stomp on them, try to drown them in the toylet bowl or the cistern, run over them, swing them against the concrete floor of a patio, use a medium claw hammer (aka. a carpenter's hammer) in order to bash them open to check them for candiosity, fire them from the cannoñata (I guess I've been watching the TV program "Viva Piñata" too much again - candiosity is usually checked with a scanner-type device on a platform with a large readout, a handheld wand that Langston Lickatoad uses, or a pack-of-cards-sized device that Fergy Fudgehog uses; and the cannoñata is only used to shoot piñatas to piñata parties away from Piñata Island), send them to the Daystrom Institute for additional analysis, or inflict upon them punishments that flashlights may have inflicted upon them. So this section of the Battery-powered Orange LED Halloween Lights's web page will seem ***SIGNIFICANTLY*** more bare than this section of the web page on a page about a flashlight.

Does this eval. look an awful lot like the one I made for this product?
Thought that you'd say so.
That's because the two products are extremely similar to one another (differing only in LED color), so I was able to use its evaluation as a template for this one.
