The 10 Warm White LED Snowflake Lights is a very interesting little Christmas decoration.
Although they are 5-pointed stars instead 6-sided snowflakes, they're called, "snowflakes" on the packaging materials.

Instead of the cool white LEDs that you might expect from snowflake lights, this one features WARM WHITE LEDs.

The light sets contain 10 (ten) 5mm warm white LEDs, powered by two AA cells inside a battery pack.

 SIZE

Install 2 AA cells first (see directly below), and THEN you can deck the halls with them.

String these up as you would oridinary (corded) Christmas lights. Hang them on Christmas trees, mantles, doorways, in windows, or other places where you might normally hang light sets.

These lights are explicitely labelled as being "for indoor use only", so you don't want to hang them on the outside of your house or on bushes in the yard.

To turn them on, slide that little black switch on the upper-left side of the battery box to the "on" position (toward the edge of the battery box). To turn them off, slide the switch to the "off" position (toward the center of the battery box).

To change the batteries, slide the battery door off in the opposite direction of the arrow on the battery door, and set it aside.

If necessary, remove and dispose of or recycle the 2 used AA cells from the compartment.

Insert two new AA cells in the compartment, orienting each cell so its flat-end (-) negative faces a spring for it in each chamber.

Slide the battery door back on, and be done with it.

These light sets appear at least *reasonably* durable, in that they should not just fall apart on their own or through just casual handling.

These products are meant to be used as Christmas lights in a dry area, not as flashlights meant to be carried around, thrashed, used, and abused; so I won't try to flush them down the toilet, bash them against the corner of a concrete stair or a steel rod, let my housemate's kitty cat's ghost go to the bathroom on them, run over them with a 450lb electric wheelchair, or perform other indecencies on them that a regular flashlight might have to go through.

This set has a lighted length of 1.10m (3.750 feet).

Set illuminated on the floor (ambient lighting on).

Set illuminated on the floor (ambient lighting off).
