Flight took place in the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (just across the street from the Quick-E-Mart) in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 08-21-14.
Conditions at flight time were medium and low clouds, temperature of 54°F (12.2°C), and winds WSW at 6mph (5.19kts, 9.66kph).
It was a bit windy, but I stuck it out as long as I felt safe that the gay little styrofoam airplane was not going to land on the roof or crash into the street where it would rather handily be run over.

The onboard camera kept malfunctioning and I was not able to control the plane; I now believe that EMI from the 500KVAC (500,000 volts AC) transmission lines directly overhead caused these malfunctions.
This is one of the 500,000 volts AC transmission towers; the wires extend across the parking lot and I suspect them of causing interference which caused the malfunctions in the Hawk Eye Blue Sky's camera and control systems.

As you can tell, it was really too windy to fly.
At the end of the flight, it got stuck in a tree and it took me several minutes of repeatedly throwing a shoe at it in order to nock it down.

Starting at 2:33, there is video test footage taken from the Hawk Eye's onboard camera. The aircraft was not being flown; I simply carried it around the carport and (at the end) gently tossed it so that it landed while its camera was still "rolling".
