Brief windy-day flight of my UDI U13A R/C Camera Helicopter.

Flight took place in the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (just across the street from the Quick-E-Mart) in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 09-22-14. (or, "2014 22 Sep." or even, "September 22, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy with occasional light drizzle, temperature of 58°F (14.4°C), and winds gusting from the SSW at 9mph (7.785kts, 14.49kph)

This flight was made after removing the entire tail rotor ass'y and taping a quarter (a United States 25¢ coin) to the front of the canopy.

That semineferious bungsnoidial tubloidial buttsnoipe with the dark green jacket on is the pilot -- ME of course! ;-)

As you can see, it was simply too windy to make very much forward progress at all or gain a lot of altitude; the wind could have very easily carried it off had I done so.

Later on, when I was flying it near my home, it crashed into telephone wires and plummeted to the surface; I later discovered that the memory chip for its camera popped out and I was unable to locate the tiny thing. So it looks like flights with aerial video are on hold until at least early-October which is the soonest that I can obtain a replacement.

I lost it in the sun plus some wind blew it ***WAAAAAAAYYYY*** off-course, so I intentionally let the gay little plastic & metal heli crash so that it would not get stuck on as rooftop, in a tree, or in a chicken coop that's full of bird s**t.

Weather conditions at flight time were clear, temperature of 40°F (4.4°C), and winds calm.

At the end of this flight, I saw the problem that occurred during the last flight {my first flight today} (the wild spinning) and both of these flights (failure to gain altitude) -- turns out that one of the main rotor blades had become partially busted (which probably occurred the other day when I crashed into overhead power lines); I changed it as soon as I came in from this flight.
