Syma S033G RC Coaxial Helicopter Halloween 2014 flight (2)

Flight took place near my home at the intersection of Mason St. & Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the afternoon of Halloween 10-31-14 (or, "2014 31 Oct." or even, "October 31, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature of 54°F (13.9°C), and winds SW gusting to 6mph (5.19kts, 9.66kph).

The tail rotor quit functioning for some as-of-yet unknown reason, so I taped a bunch of pennies (a United States 1¢ coin) to the front underside of the canopy to give me a bit of forward movement.

In this video (as with the rest of my Syma S-033G vidz), I taped my Nikon Coolpix S4300 digital camera to the remote in such a manner that I had to orient the Tx's antenna at a 90°angle to the helicopter at all times.

This video is 208.2009842358 megabytes (208,449,608 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than one thousand forty one minutes (!) to load at 48.0Kbps.
This video is definitely ***NOT*** dial-up friendly!!!

Weather conditions at flight time were light rain, temperature of 57°F (13.9°C), and winds calm.

The tail rotor quit functioning for some reason, so I taped a bunch of pennies (a United States 1¢ coin) to the front underside of the canopy to give me a bit of forward movement.

Syma S033G RC Coaxial Helicopter flights 10-31-14 (1)

Flights took place near my home on Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the afternoon of Halloween 10-31-14 (or, "2014 31 Oct." or even, "October 31, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature of 54°F (13.9°C), and winds gusting to 7mph (6.055kts, 11.270kph).

The tail rotor quit functioning for some as-of-yet unknown reason, so I taped a bunch of pennies (a United States 1¢ coin) to the front underside of the canopy to give me a bit of forward movement.

You can see it drop out of the sky at one point (unrelated to the crash into CATV wires earlier in the video); the heli required some minor repairs before the flight that immediately followed.

In this video, I taped my Nikon Coolpix S4300 digital camera to the remote in such a manner that I had to orient the Tx's antenna at a 90°angle to the helicopter at all times; so I'm not exactly certain just why it quit responding and dropped out of the sky at one point in this video.

This video is 217.7964378932 megabytes (217,917,840 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than one thousand eighty nine minutes to load at 48.0Kbps.
