docter

The Docter is in!
No, not that kind of doctor, this kind: a German-made, rectangular handheld torch with a unique aspherical glass lens and 2.1+ watt quartz iodine bulb.
The Aspherilux is powered by 4 AA batteries, and has a slide switch for on & off.

SIZE:

Beam profile analysis with point illuminance values.

Spatial distribution curve - a cross section of the Aspherilux's beam.
These images made using the ProMetric System by Radiant Imaging.

The beam as you might see it. So hell!
Deliberately underexposed to show detail.

TEST NOTES:
Unit was just received as of 11-07-01. Testing is current in progress. Since the ProMetric just happened to be set up right next to my computer chair, that's where it went first. :)
The unit is outfitted with a glass lens, not plastic.

I see that as of 10-11-03, I still haven't finished this page. If I find my Docter Aspherilux 125, I'll finish this page as soon as I can. :-)
