SPECTROGRAPHIC ANALYSES OF FLUORESCENCE IN
OBJECTS WHEN IRRADIATED WITH THE
S3 Spyder Arctic G2 445nm Blue Laser (3) W/SmartSwitch™ v2.0

This web page will be for nothing but spectra of objects fluorescing (glowing) when irradiated with the Wicked Lasers Spyder 3 Arctic 445nm 1W Blue Diode Laser (3) W/SmartSwitch™ v2.0 and two of LEDs in the Arctic itself:

Ocean Optics USB2000 Spectrometer donated by P.L.
As of 10-10-07, I've been using a PC2000-ISA Spectrometer from Ocean Optics that I received several years ago, but that I didn't have a home for until now.
As of 03-08-08, I once again have the USB2000 spectrometer, enabling color spectra again.
As of 09-19-09, I no longer have the PC2000-ISA; it was sold to prevent an eviction.

Spectrographic analysis Spectrographic analysis of the fluorescence of a uranated* glass marble when irradiated with this laser.

Spectrographic analysis Spectrographic analysis of the fluorescence of the 2009 NIA Commemorative Insulator in uranated* glass when irradiated with this laser.

*"Uranated" - infused with an anion oxide of uranium, *NOT* piddled ("pyst") on. Commonly referred to as "Vaseline glass" because it has a distinct pale yellow-green color when not being irradiated.

Note spelling: "urAnated", not "urEnated","urInated",
"urOnated", "urUnated", or sometimes "urYnated".

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of fluorescence of an orange spray-painted rock that the utility company here uses to mark telephone wires and such so that they do not become destroyed while they're laying new natural gas service pipe.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of fluorescence of the same spray-painted rock; spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 570nm and 620nm to pinpoint peak fluorescence wavelength, which is 591.624nm.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of fluorescence of a green spray-painted rock that the utility company here uses to mark telephone wires and such so that they do not become destroyed while they're laying new natural gas service pipe.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the bicolor LED in the charger; the red "Charge cycle in progress" die was illuminated.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the bicolor LED in the charger; the yellow-green "Charge cycle complete" die was illuminated.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the bicolor LED in the charger; both the red "Charge cycle in progress" die and the yellow-green "Charge cycle complete" die was illuminated - this condition occurs very near completion of the charge cycle.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the yellow-green LED under the SmartSwitch™ button.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of the yellow-green battery status monitoring LEDs.

Do you manufacture or sell an LED flashlight, task light, utility light, or module of some kind? Want to see it tested by a real person, under real working conditions? Do you then want to see how your light did? If you have a sample available for this type of real-world, real-time testing, please contact me at ledmuseum@gmail.com.

Please visit this web page for contact information.

Unsolicited flashlights, LEDs, and other products appearing in the mail are welcome, and it will automatically be assumed that you sent it in order to have it tested and evaluated for this site.
Be sure to include contact info or your company website's URL so visitors here will know where to purchase your product.
