The Energizer LED Book Light LED is a reading light that features a white LED behind a diffusing window, powered by two CR2032 lithium coin cells. It has a flexible neck, so you can put the light where you need it.

It clips onto your book with a built-in clip.

 SIZE

The LED Book Light is ready to use right out of the package. The batteries are included and installed when you buy it.

Clip the LED Book Light to the front or back cover of the book you wish to illuminate. Affix it so that the clip portion faces up.

Turn the Trim Flex on by sliding the switch on the light head forward until it clicks two or three times. Turn it off by sliding the switch backward (toward the neck) until it clicks two or three times and won't go back any farther.

Adjust the light head as you see fit by bending the flexible neck. Once you have it adjusted where you want it (within reason, of course), it will stay put.

There are no battery changing instructions on the package, so I'll kinda have to guess here...

Using a #0 phillips screwdriver (3.8mm head is about the largest I would use), unscrew the silvery colored screw on the LED Book Light's body. Lift the cover off, and set it and the screw aside. Remove the two used CR2032 cells, and dispose of or recycle them as you see fit.

Insert the first of two new CR2032 cells in the battery chamber closest to the neck, button-side (-) negative down. Insert the second cell in the second battery chamber flat-side (+) positive down.

Place the cover back over the opening, insert the screw into the hole for it, and tighten the screw.

There, done. :-)
There are battery polarity markings embossed in the bottoms of each of the two chambers, so you can get them in correctly even if you forgot what it reads on this page. ;-)
If your LED Book Light does not work after a battery change, open the cover and be sure you installed the cells correctly.

Advertised battery life is 30 hours.

Current usage was measured at 65.2mA on the batteries that came with it. This will very likely drop quickly; as coin cells are not designed to generate this kind of current for very long.

The LED Book Light is designed to be a reading light, not a flashlight. So I won't whack it against a steel rod, try to drown it in the toilet, run over it, throw it, stomp on it, or inflict other punishmnents upon it that might be inflicted upon regular flashlights.
So this part of the page will be relatively empty.
