Welcome to the first unofficial Safeco Field Fan Site!
STUCK IN SOMEBODY ELSE'S FRAME?

What makes this Safeco Field fan website different than any others which might pop up is that most of its pictures show Safeco Field from the unique perspective of somebody in a wheelchair.
Hint: it looks a lot like it does to a more able-bodied person!
Safeco Field: A Photo Tour was created August 24, 1999.

NEW! See that "Teal & Blue In 2002" graphic? That's mine, so please ask before using it.
NEW! Page added for Our ALDS Win that moves us closer to the World Series!
Page added for TV & MEDIA coverage this site or myself has received for being M's fan.
SEPT 30, 2001: What was to be the last regular season game was anything but...
AUG 26, 2001: My mom flew out of Juneau AK. and attended her very first major league baseball games with me - the infamous 'Earring Series" with Cleveland. :)
AUG. 08, 2001: Would you believe it... a pair of Toronto Blue Jays fans took me out to the ballgame.
May 31, 2001: MARINERS SWEEP THE ORIOLES TO PICK UP WIN #40.
Buhner Buzz Night 2001 was a smashing success. See the pictures!!

Please take a moment to write in the Fan Guestbook before you leave, so I know you've been here, thanks.

Japanese TV
The morning show "Mezamashi TV" airs on Fuji TV every day.
Fuji TV is one of Japan's major broadcast networks, and is comparable to any of our "big three" here in the U.S.
This is the crew from Mezamashi TV, after interviewing me in my home about the Mariners, Ichiro Suzuki, and the team's post-season glory

The crew consisted of Mr. Hiro Ichioka; a coordinator, Mr. Yamada; director, Mr. Kenji Wakabayashi; a cameraman, Mr. Jun Sugawara; a sound operator, and one other crewman whom I couldn't get the name of.

This is my public Thank You to you all, and hey... if you have a video tape of the show this airs on, I'd sure like to see it some day. :-)

KIRO

One of Mariners play-by-play announcer Dave Niehaus's most famous sayings comes when a Mariner hits a grand slam:
{shouted into the microphone} "Get out the rye bread and the mustard, Grandma, it's grand salami time!!!"
