SUMMER LIGHT GLOBES

This decorative light set was given to me by my best friends P.B. and P.D. in Seattle (my other best friend was Paul Casey, but he passed away on 06-16-06). These sets consist of ten miniature incandescent light bubs connected in series just like incandescent miniature Christmas light sets.

The bulbs in this set (ten of them) have large, thin paper, globe-shaped covers on them in pastel colors; they are designed to be used in spring, summer, and autumn; unlike traditional "Christmas" light sets designed to be used from Thanksgiving to New Year.

 SIZE

This light set is ready to use as soon as you remove it from the package. Hang them up as you might hang regular Christmas light sets. These sets have end-to-end connectivity, so you need not have an outlet available to connect multiple sets to one another.

Because this is a 120VAC powered product, this section can and will be skipped.

Since this is a set of holiday lights meant to be hung up and then not abused, I won't whap them against a steel rod or the concrete floor of a patio, try to drown them in a toilet bowl, stomp on them, run over them, or inflict other punishments upon them that might be inflicted upon regular flashlights. So this section will be rather short.

My sister hung these on our outdoor patio in June 2006; they were removed & replaced with Halloween decorations approximately 10-12-06. While they were up, they really did look good out there; they weren't too gaudy and they really did look like they belonged there.

Photograph of most of the globes, illuminated of course.

TEST NOTES:
Test samples (two sets) were given to me by friends in late-December 2004.
