NARROWBAND SPECTRA OF LOW-POWERED BLUE-GREEN LEDs (NEWEST {03-25-12 and 01-13-13} SPECTROMETER SOFTWARE SETTINGS USED)

This web page will be for nothing but spectra of 10mm, 8mm, 5mm, 3mm, and SMD LEDS (driven at 20mA to 60mA):

Ocean Optics USB2000 Spectrometer donated by P.L.
As of 10-10-07, I've been using a PC2000-ISA Spectrometer from Ocean Optics that I received several years ago, but that I didn't have a home for until now.
As of 03-08-08, I once again have the USB2000 spectrometer, enabling color spectra again.
As of 09-19-09, I no longer have the PC2000-ISA; it was sold to prevent an eviction.

L490-06 Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of an Epitex L490-06 Blue-Green LED; spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 480nm and 490nm to pinpoint native emission peak wavelength, which is 484.180nm.
This is what they call, "Tokyo Blue" -- so-named because in Japan in the mid-1990s, this LED was placed in the "green" ball of traffic lights; the theory being that people with red-green color blindness could still see if the green signal was lit or unlit because the light leans toward the blue in sufficient degree to allow it.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of a blue-green LED from a 2013 Camero's HUD (Heads-Up Display); spectrometer's response narrowed to a band between 485nm and 505nm to pinpoint native emission peak wavelength, which is 499.160nm.
