Do you have an Expedition 300, 1400, or 1900? Maybe a C.Crane Expedtion? Wish you could get just a bit tighter of a beam out of it? Well now you can. This is a brand new optics upgrade designed to fit all the 3-C cell LED lights made by Tektite. When installed, it narrows & brightens the beam, and gives the flashlight just a little more "umph".

The kit consists of a special Fresnel lens and a rubber shroud to fit around your existing bezel. Here are the instructions for installation:

Wash your hands before performing this installation!
  1. Remove the clear lens cap (bezel) from your Expedition 300, 1400, 1900, or C.Crane Expedition flashlight.
  2. Place the lens cap face-down on a clean, dry, level surface, so the open end faces up.
  3. Remove the Fresnel lens from the plastic bag; handling it only by the edges.
  4. Lay the Fresnel lens in the bezel BEVELED EDGE DOWN (the side with the Fresnel pattern facing down). See graphic below.
  5. Cover the Fresnel lens with the plastic bag it came in, and press it straight down with your thumb. It will "pop" over the threads and end up at the bottom, butted up against the flat face of the bezel when you're finished.
  6. Remove the plastic bag, and screw the bezel back on your flashlight.

Warning!! If you put the lens in upside down, it will break and even if it doesn't, it will not focus the beam correctly.

A new rubber shroud is provided which simply presses in place over your flashlight's head. It effectively blocks the side emission which some people find annoying; it is also easily removeable just by pulling it off.
