The I-Sight® Book Light is a little LED light that is fastened to your ear so that you can read or perform other tasks in darkness.

A single Nichia white LED is used in this product; this makes it ideal for reading and performing other tasks at night or just for flipping that pesky circuit breaker in a dark basement that you tripped by running the microwave and the toaster simultaneously (together).

Electrically, to use the I-Sight® Book Light, press & release the silvery pushbutton on the side of the product to turn it on; perform the same action to turn it back off.

To hook it to your ear, swing the open-sided triangular loop out a bit, and loop it over your earlobe.

The illuminator head is on a short flexible stalk; it may be moved slightly in any direction, but always springs back to *NEAR* the center position.

I'd have normally used a "Phoam Hed Phred" (styrofoam wig modelling form) for this photograph, but my parents forced me to throw it in the dustbin (garbage can) in December 2008 prior to us moving from Sacramento CA. USA to Federal Way WA. USA around New Years Day 2009.

To change the battery, turn the unit upside-down. You'll see a rectangular battery door. Slide it off, take it to a bridge over deep water (the Golden Gate Bridge would be ideal; however, the Juneau-Douglas Bridge would also suffice here), and throw it over the side so that it goes "blub blub blub" all the way to the bottom of Gastineau Channel with all of the bowling balls that were lobbed over that bridge in the 1950s and 1960s...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.

Remove the used AAA cell, and dispose of or recycle it as you see fit.

Insert a new AAA cell into the chamber, orienting it so that its flat-end (-) negative faces the spring in the chamber for it.

Place the battery door back on, and be done with it.
Aren't you glad that you didn't throw that battery door over the side of the Juneau-Douglas Bridge now?

The Ear Light is designed to be fastened to your ear, not used as a super sturdy "barrel-style" flashlight in a metal body that won't mind you abusing it. So I won't throw it against the wall, stomp on it, try to drown it in the {vulgar term for feces}bowl or the cistern, run over it, swing it against the concrete floor of a front porch, use a medium ball peen hammer to bash it open in order to check it for candiosity, fire it from the cannoñata (I guess I've been watching the TV program "Viva Piñata" too much again - candiosity is usually checked with a laser-type device on a platform with a large readout (located at Piñata Central), a handheld wand that Langston Lickatoad uses, or a pack-of-cards-sized instrument that Fergy Fudgehog uses; and the cannoñata (also located at Piñata Central) is only used to shoot piñatas to piñata parties away from picturesque Piñata Island), send it to the Daystrom Institute for additional analysis, or inflict upon it punishments that a flashlight in a metal or sturdier plastic body may have inflicted upon it.
