This product does not emit light of its own (much like this spectrometer and this spectrometer too), so the standard review format will not be used and the product will be assigned a rating at once.
The Edmund Scientific Rainbow Glasses are paper glasses with diffraction gratings where the lenses would normally be found.
What they do is split light into its component spectra; for white light, this would yield you an image with "rainbow" splotches at eight different angles from the light source: 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, 315°, and 360°.
