This product does not emit light of its own, so the standard review format will not be used; however, since I consider them "test equipment", they will be furnished with a "star" rating. This web page will consist of just some informational text, four photographs, and two spectrographic analyses.

These are laser safety goggles designed for the invisible 1,064nm YAG (ytterium-aluminum-garnet) laser.

They have acrylic lenses, a soft rubbery shroud (to keep unwanted stray laser radiation from entering your eyes from the sides, top, and bottom), and an elastic (stretchy) strap that is used to affix them to your head.

* I was not able to find this product on the Jackson Safety website, so this link simply leads to their front door.

Me with the goggles on as they are intended to be used.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of sunlight to use as a control.

Spectrographic analysis
Spectrographic analysis of sunlight with these goggles placed in front of the spectrometer's light input aperture.
My spectrometer does not read far enough into the infrared to show the cutoff near 1,000nm.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was purchased on Ebay in September 2006 shortly after purchasing a YAG laser that was sent along with the 50W 808nm Laser Diode Module (which was provided as a "freebie").

Since I cannot test them at their designed blocking wavelength, I cannot in good concience furnish them with a "star" rating.
