The Spinning LED Mirror Testicle...er...uh...um...I mean Spinning LED Mirror BALL Party Light is a product that contains three white LEDs aimed at a rotating, mirrored ball -- kind of like a miniature disco ball but not hung from the ceiling.

It is ***SUPPOSED*** to create a slowly-moving pattern of white spots on your walls; however, the motor turns ***WAAAAAYYYY*** too rapidly to display this; instead, it displays a number of rather "furry" amorphous streaks.

It has three white LEDs aimed upward at a rotating ball covered with mirror tiles, and feeds the whole mess from three AA cells.

 SIZE

The Spinning LED Mirror Ball Party Light needs to be fed three AA cells first (see directly below), and THEN you'll be able to infect your walls with amorphous streaks of white light (no, not the slowly-moving "fuzzy dots" like you'd expect).

On the side of the base, you'll see a rocker switch.
Rock this switch upward to turn the unit on.
Rock this switch downward to neutralise the unit (turn it off).

To change the batteries, turn the unit upside-down. Unclip and remove the battery door, take it to a pet sematary, and huck it into an open grave so that the kitty & doggie ghosts see it, become all pissed at it, and (the dog ghosts) lift their legs on it while the cat ghosts bury it with dirt from the mound next to the grave...O WAIT!!! YOU'LL NEED THAT!!! So just set it aside instead.

Remove the three used AA cells out of the compartment, and dispose of or recycle them as you see fit. Do not throw them into the same grave as you chucked the battery door into, and for God sakes please do not drop them into a salmon-filled stream!!!

Insert three new AA cells into the compartment, orienting them so that their flat-ends (-) negatives face a spring for them in each chamber.

Place the battery door back over the opening, and press it into place until you hear (and feel) it click closed.
Aren't you glad you didn't huck that battery door into a grave at the pet sematary now?

Unable to measure current usage due to how the product was constructed.

Because this is a novelty item (a party light, actually) and not a flashlight, the punishments I bestow upon flashlights will not be bestowed upon the Spinning LED Mirror Ball Party Light. So this section of the web page will be significantly more bare than this section of the web page on a page about a flashlight who's sole purpose in life is to be a flashlight.

The mirror ball rotates WAAAAAYYYYY too fast to make it an effective party light; instead of slowly-moving spots of light on your walls, you just end up with vague white streaks.

TEST NOTES:
Test unit was purchased at the Party City store in Federal Way WA. USA on 10-17-12.

UPDATE: 00-00-00

PROS:
Well, it looks OK sitting on a shelf anyway...
...actually, the price isn't that bad either

NEUTRAL:
LEDs would be bright enough to use as a decent flashlight if the mirror ball weren't in the way
The packaging materials indicate that it has 4 LEDs; it actually only has three.
I kind of expected it to have colored LEDs rather than white ones

CONS:
Spins WAAAAAYYYYY too fast to make an effective "mirror ball" (this is, by far, what nocked the most stars off its rating and why it 'earned' the dreadful, "Zero Stars -- Uranate On It!" rating (and placement in my website's, "The Toylet Bowl" section that 'showcases' products which are uniquely s***ty) instead!!! )
Glass mirror tiles look somewhat sloppily glued onto the ball
Ball itself looks a bit off-center; but that's mainly from the careless application of the mirror tiles
