Flights of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery).

Flights took place near my home on Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on 08-22-14 (or, "2014 22 Aug." or even, "August 22, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were moderate fog, temperature of 51°F (11.1°C), and winds calm with gusts out of the WSW at 2mph (1.73kts, 3.22kph).

I had to keep my altitude fairly low because this is a rather restrictive place to fly (insomuch as square footage, traffic, and etc.) and I had overhead telephone, CATV, and electric power wires to contend with.

This video is silent because the camera I used had its mic become busted after a nosefirst crash several weeks or so ago.

At the end of this video, I crashed into a mailbox and busted one of the main rotor blades; however I do indeed have spares at my disposal.

This video is silent because the camera I used had its mic become busted after a nosefirst crash several weeks or so ago; a replacement camera is already speeding on its way to me.

Aerial video showing another flight of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery).

Flight took place behind the Sears in Federal Way WA. USA on 07-09-14 (or, "2014 09 Jul." or even, "July 09, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were clear, temperature of 66°F (18.9°C), and winds out of the NNW gusting to 5mph (4.325kts, 8.05kph).

The part at the beginning where you can see my hair is where I turned the camera on, started recording, and taped it to the bottom of the heli's canopy.

Flight of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery).

Flight took place near Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on 07-25-14 (or, "2014 25 Jul." or even, "July 25, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature of 56°F (13.3°C), and winds out of the WSW at 2mph (1.73kts, 3.22kph).

The heli crashed into low-hanging telephone wires, causing it to plummet into the ground nosefirst (which was where the camera was mounted) and subsequently causing destruction of the camera -- but I still have the camera that records with no audio (sound) so I'm still in the game as it were.

This video is 57.6734903288 megabytes (57,889,428 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.

This video shows the truly "craptacular" maiden flights of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (with Li:Poly battery).

This piece of {vulgar slang term for a fudge bunny} could not even ascend more than a few inches off the ground; it simply doesn't have the {vulgar slang term for male nads} to rise any higher. :-(

{N.B.} Several hours after I uploaded this video, I think I have nailed down the cause of the crappy flights: the flight battery was charged incorrectly (read: not at all!) -- turns out that I was connecting the wrong connector to the charger.

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature of 54°F (12.2°C), and winds out of the S at 6mph (5.19kts, 9.66kph).

This video is 7.2225656838 megabytes (7,390,731 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.

Flights of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery).

Flights took place behind the Sears in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-19-14 (or, "2014 19 Jun." or even, "June 19, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature of 54°F (12.2°C), and winds out of the S at 5mph (4.325kts, 8.05kph).

The parts where you can see me futzing with the heli are where I was actually fiddling with the aerial camera that I installed on it.

It was a bit too windy to fly, but I stuck it out anyway.

This video is 371.9367782378 megabytes (372,565,348 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.

Flights of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery); aerial videography done with my Rechargeable Mini Keychain Video Recorder affixed to the heli's canopy.

Flights took place behind the Sears in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-20-14 (or, "2014 20 Jun." or even, "June 20, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Like yesterday, it was a bit too windy to fly, but I stuck it out anyway.

At 1:13, the heli crashed, the camera took a good beating at impact, and the camera's mic got ruined -- which is why there is no more audio following that.

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature of 55°F (13.3°C), and winds out of the SSW at 5mph (3.46kts, 8.05kph).

This video is 20.4097563782 megabytes (20,598,793 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.

Flights of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery); aerial videography done with my Rechargeable Mini Keychain Video Recorder affixed to the heli's canopy.

Flights took place in baseball diamond #1 at Celebration Park in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-23-14 (or, "2014 23 Jun." or even, "June 23, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature of 60°F (15.5°C), and winds out of the SSE at 1mph (0.865kts, 1.61kph).

The next aerial video that I do should have sound because the replacement camera that I ordered came just several hours after I shot this video.

This video is 338.9884235680 megabytes (339,554,748 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.

Brief flight of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery); aerial videography done with my Rechargeable Mini Keychain Video Recorder affixed to the heli's canopy.

Flights took place in a socker field at Celebration Park in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-25-14 (or, "2014 25 Jun." or even, "June 25, Twenty Stick-Pile-of-Crossed-Busted-Sticks if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature of 61°F (16.1°C), and winds out of the N at 3mph (2.595kts, 4.83kph).

The heli experienced mid-air blade strike, breaking off one of the main rotor blades, which is why this flight is so brief.

I highly suspect that the heli experienced a sudden downdraft, causing one of the lower rotor blades to strike the camera (thus neutralising it) and bounce upward into the path of the counterrotating upper blades which subsequently caused it to strike one of the upper blades and thus become destroyed. I have already ordered replacement main rotor blades, which should arrive here in very early-July 2014, after which my flights can resume.

Post-repair, low-altitude test flight (aerial videography done with my Rechargeable Mini Keychain Video Recorder affixed to the heli's canopy) of my Syma S031G R/C Coaxial Helicopter (new vers. with Li:Po battery).

Flight took place in front of my home in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-30-14.

Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature of 73°F (22.8°C), and winds out of the N gusting to 13mph (11.245kts, 20.93kph).

The crash at the end was intentional so as to avoid chopping up the neighbour's plants with the heli's main rotor blades.

This video is 99.9237893549 megabytes (100,443,836 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than four hundred ninety nine minutes to load at 48.0Kbps.

A second set of post-repair, low-altitude test flights (aerial videography done with my Rechargeable Mini Keychain Video Recorder affixed to the heli's canopy) of this heli.

Flights took place in front of my home in Federal Way WA. USA on 06-30-14.

Weather conditions at flight time were sunny, temperature of 74°F (23.3°C), and winds out of the NNW gusting to 9mph (7.785kts, 14.490+kph).

The crashes in this video were due to gusts of wind taking the heli down.

This video is 10.4623218238 megabytes (10,654,313 bytes) in length; dial-up users please be aware.
It will take no less than fifty three minutes to load at 48.0Kbps.
