Itr's NIKKI of course!!!
This is my special little furkid in her new cat bed.
I purchased it for at a nearby Right Aid, and after I showed it to her by putting her in it, she rarely leaves it!
The only things that I can think of as to why she took to this bed so readily and hardly leaves it now is that ***I*** bought it for her, and there is no scent of other kitties or puppy dogs in it.
This pic of Stormy and Nikki on my bed together was taken on the evening of 02-06-14.
Here, my precious little furkid went right to the new jacket I got for Christmas 2013 and commandeered it!

An endothermic quadruped carnivorous by nature?
Your visual, olfactory and auditory senses
Contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations,
A singular development of cat communications
That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
For a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents;
You would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aid in locomotion,
It often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
O Nikki,
The complex levels of behaviour you display
Connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient,
Nikki,
And do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

We adopted this kitty cat in July 2011; she was officially made "MY" cat in early-October 2011.

I've been telling Nikki that she's my "precious little furkid" for at least the last week.
